Scene Building - Winter holiday cheer peace card

 Hello, Gaylynn here.  Thanks for visiting.  Here on this last day of July, I am sharing card scene building using a mix of stamping, heat embossing and ink blending.  I am getting an early start on my holiday card making.

Go through your crafty stash for stamps not intended for the holidays to help create a holiday card.  These trees worked great for building the winter scene.

 Greetings.  Some cards are difficult to make because sometimes there are no words in difficult times.  This is an idea of a simply stamped card with a heartfelt sentiment.

Bible journaling fun fold tag art ~ Luke 23 31

 This project is Bible journaling fun fold tag art with a vintage finish.  This one incorporates stamping both onto cardstock and onto the thin bible pages.

Sending wedding congratulations can be made easily with simple stamping and color.  This bride and groom card includes a top border made from soft ink blending.

 This is a clean and simple miss you card featuring the sweetest flock of birds on a branch.  I used simple stamping on white with a touch of ink blending for the background.

Vintage holiday wishes stocking card

For today, I share this sweet vintage holiday wishes stocking card.  It features the Velveteen Rabbit theme using rubber stamps by Unity Stamp Co.


Just look at the sweetness.  The background was made from a stamp as well.  I felt that a vintage and distressed look was in order.

Positive thoughts mixed media card ~ bees

 Hi everyone.  Today I am sharing Summer vibes with a simple mixed media inspirational card.  This one incorporates mixed stamping and patterned paper.


Sentiment:  Positive thoughts

For the bees panel, I added extra color with a chicken wire stamp that also looks like honeycombs.  And for the background paper, I added honeycomb dry embossing.

Snarky frog grassy scene card

Hi there.  Today for the Unity blog, I am sharing a funny and snarky frog grassy scene card.  I paired two kits that work perfectly together for a great card for a guy or gal.

Sentiment:
I made this card with large font so old farts like you could read it.

For interest, I added a grassy scene and a bit of stenciling for this guy.  This project requires no coloring.

Sun ray bunnies Easter one layer flat card.

 Sometimes you just want a simple one layer flat card that still makes an impact.  This Easter card was accented with a sun ray background using a blend of colors.

This one layer card was made simple and bright with a touch of coloring and stenciling over the stamping.

Two Step Stenciling ~ Hearts

  Hi there.  For today on the Unity blog, I am sharing two step stenciling with hearts.  This was made using coordinating stamps and stencils with ink blending.

These chatty hearts can be used for more than Valentines.  Here, I made a wedding card with a mix of stamping, ink blending and patterned paper.

Juniper fun fold card with colored pencils.

 Hi crafty friends.  Today for the Unity blog, I am sharing a juniper fun fold card with colored pencils.  It includes a flip up element for writing your inside greeting.  The style can be used with almost any stamp or theme.


Sentiment:
His mercies are new every morning; Great is His faithfulness.  "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, therefore I hope in Him!"  Lamentations 3:23:24

For color, I used colored pencils along with ink blending to accent the juniper stamping.  I also incorporated an inspirational spiritual theme.
