Scene Building - Winter holiday cheer peace card

 Hello, Gaylynn here.  Thanks for visiting.  Here on this last day of July, I am sharing card scene building using a mix of stamping, heat embossing and ink blending.  I am getting an early start on my holiday card making.


Sentiment:  Peace.  Holiday cheer.

Go through your crafty stash for stamps not intended for the holidays to help create a holiday card.  These trees worked great for building the winter scene.

Canoe Lake Scene Watercolor Card

 Greetings.  Let's imagine we were in this peaceful setting.  Just looking at it calms the soul.  This is a stamp from the Unity Stamp Co. July Kit of the Month called It's All Makin' Sense.  This project is part of the inserts included in Unity's July KOTM.

Sweet girl greeting card scene with Copic markers

  Hi everyone.  Today's project is a sweet girl greeting card scene.  I used Copic markers for coloring plus patterned paper for the background.


Sentiment:

Be still for a moment, the world will wait.

I think this is good advice.  This Unity stamp was created by artist Phyllis Harris.

Quick and easy inspirational card ~ cat scene

 Today, I share a quick and easy inspirational card with a cat scene.  This was made with no coloring, only simple stamping and paper layers.


This card has an uplifting message with a sweet cat scene.  It was made in light colors with just a few ink shades.

Watercolor holiday card scene ~ Santa's list

For today on the Unity Stamp Company blog, I share this darling little Pooh Bear watercolor holiday card scene.  This one features Santa's list with the fun check mark "I tried".


For watercolor, I decided to try watercolor brush pens by Altenew for the first time.  This project turned out much more rich in color than I intended.  More practice with the pens is in order for me.

 Hi friends.  Today, I am here sharing a sweet card that is also up on the Unity blog today.  It features embossed circle accents, die-cutting and Copic marker coloring.

The circles were included to add to the whimsical look of this stamped scene.

Snarky frog grassy scene card

Hi there.  Today for the Unity blog, I am sharing a funny and snarky frog grassy scene card.  I paired two kits that work perfectly together for a great card for a guy or gal.

Sentiment:
I made this card with large font so old farts like you could read it.

For interest, I added a grassy scene and a bit of stenciling for this guy.  This project requires no coloring.

Nativity ~ Variegated Snow Card Background + Embossing

Hello.  Today, I am sharing an embossed nativity scene with a variegated snow card background.  This background technique adds beautiful shimmering detail.

All is calm.  All is bright.

With this technique, dark color cardstock works nicely, or even darker ink blending as well.

Stamped Combo ~ Winnie The Pooh Social Media Hop Party

For this one-layer Summer card, I used watercolor, stenciling and ink blending.  It was fun building added accents to this already lovely background stamp.
