Now, onto my first 2 card project for this hop.  These were made using the new Unity 6x6" background stamp called Hoedown Hanky.  Since it was quite a bit bigger than my A2 sized card I decided to make two patchwork cards, all from one stamped background.
My first card is a layered bandanna look for the background.  I used dark blue ink for the hanky stamping plus distress ink blending in two colors all around the hanky.  Then, I added a fun pony and get well sentiment.  The pony tag was colored with Copic markers.  Of course, any kind of stamp and sentiment works as a focal point.

Sentiment  Giddy up and get better.

Onto my second project.  This hanky background was made using the leftover trimmings from the pony card.  I couldn't throw them away.  So, I made another patchwork card.  This time, I used a big layered sentiment to create a birthday card.  I love it when I can get two cards from one stamping.

Sentiment:  Wish big!

I made a quick video for the bandanna cards:

For my final project, I made a fun card featuring a shot of whiskey.  This is great for a significant other.  It was made simple with a touch of color, ink blending, splatters and paper.

Sentiment:
You're my shot of whiskey.

Helpful Tips:

To create this shot of whiskey card, begin by stamping the whiskey glass and a sentiment onto white cardstock with Copic friendly ink.  Then, add two shades of golden brown to the whiskey and light blue to the glass.  Next, add light distress oxide ink blending around the whiskey glass.  Also, splatter water over the distressed area.  Then, trim a background patterned paper piece.  Add black and white paint splatters over both panels, avoiding the sentiment area.  Finally, once dry, layer everything over the kraft color card base, to finish.
