Layered embossed poppy flowers & matching envelope

Hello.  Today, on the Unity blog, I am sharing a layered embossed poppy flower card & matching envelope.  This one was easy to do with no coloring involved.

Sentiment:  Birthday wishes.

Layered embossed poppy flowers make beautiful florals.  Using solid or variegated ink on the solid stamp along with white heat embossing on the outlines, the results are wonderful.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Lemons ~ Fun layers mini slimline card & envelope tutorial

Making a coordinating mini slimline card and envelope set is double the fun.  Today, on the Unity blog, I am sharing a lemon themed mini slimline set tutorial.

Sentiment:  Hello

This mini slimline card & envelope set was fun to make, especially in the bright lemon yellow and green color scheme.  It was fun making the lemon focal point along with using an eye catching sentiment and pretty paper accents.

Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for making this mini slimline card & envelope.  To begin, stamp the lemons with Copic friendly ink and then add Copic marker color in layers of coordinating colors.  Next,  die-cut the sentiment layers and set adhere them together.  Then, die-cut or trim a mini slimline card base and accent layers.  Also, use patterned paper to cut the envelope pieces.  Then, adhere the pieces together to form the coordinating envelope.  Finally, assemble the card layers over the card base to finish the card.

Here is another look.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Card & envelope ~ MCT 112th Edition Sneak Peek Day 1

Hello, it's Gaylynn.  The My Creative Time 112th Edition release is coming up on Friday.  But for today, the team is sharing Day 1 sneak peeks.

Sentiment:
Just a note.
Happy mail.

For this note card and coordinating envelope, I used the 4x4 square card and envelope die sets.  It was easy to do.  I just chose colorful cardstock in orange, blue and white for all of the die-cuts.  To give the words a bit of dimension, I added foam tape to them.  For the envelope, I added the accents included in the envelope die set.  This would be a fun card for a Florida Gator fan with these orange and blue colors.  Go Gators!!

Sentiment:  Smile

For this mini slimline card, I used the cute popcorn die as the focus. (There is also a tall version of this popcorn die available for the tall or longer slimline card styles.) I wanted the colors to be yellow, white and red. By die-cutting most of the layers, the card base and the envelope, everything was ready to assemble. Using extra tacky tape and foam tape, the card was layered and assembled, to finish.

Hello.  The My Creative Time design team is sharing birthday projects for Birthday Palooza on our blogs.  I decided to make a cute mini slimline card with the bubble cover die and the flower.

Sentiment:  Happy birthday.

This card and envelope were assembled from the die-cuts and then stamped and embossed with the sentiment.  I used Copic markers for the flower coloring and then popped that up onto the card front.  I really love the cute card size or mini slimline size of these dies.  Making a matching card and envelope set is a bonus.

Here is another look at the card.
