 Hey, everyone.  Making cards for guys is easier with patterned paper layers and stamping.  I paired the two for this flat pun card for almost any occasion.

 Hello and welcome.  Today, I am sharing a way to make a masculine guy card with torn edges.  This was also hand stamped to create the border accent.

Sentiment:  Hey Stud.

The sentiment can be changed out to work with other occasions like Father's Day, birthdays and more.  This was made to work for a spouse.

Masculine Beer Slimline Card ~ Ink Blending

 This is a fun card for the men in our life.  I made this masculine beer slimline card with stamping, ink blending and a background die-cut.  

Sentiment:  You've earned a cold one.

This is great for a birthday, congratulations, a Dad card, Father's Day, etc.

Masculine Dodge Charger Classic Car Card

 For the person who loves classic cars, this card would be perfect.  It features what I think is a Dodge Charge in orange.  The best part is that it wobbles with an interactive element.

Sentiment:

To that guy who always keeps it classy.
They don't make 'em like you anymore!
Old is the new cool.

I like the sentiments as much as the car.  The guys need cards too!

2 Masculine Drink Cards with Shine + Copic Markers

 Hi friends.  Today, I am sharing 2 masculine drink cards with shine and with Copic marker coloring, up on the Unity blog.  These were made similarly with patterned paper.

Masculine card ~ A good man.

Want to make a quick and easy card with just one layer and with no coloring?  This is a simple one layer flat card that has a masculine theme.  Sometimes, less is more, especially for the guys.

A good man is something you do not who you are.
Thanks for being a good man.

The guys need cards too.  This one is ready for offering love and encouragement to the men in our lives.

Gold embossed Mini Slimline Card ~ MCT Make It Manly

 Hello.  The My Creative Time design team is sharing masculine projects.  For today, I made a mini slimline card with masculine mustache gold wet embossing.

Sentiment:  Celebrate you!

This is a great slim card for the guys for almost any celebration occasion.  The mustache stenciling was fun to do for this card background.

Monochromatic movie night card ~ MCT Manly Monday

 Hello.  The My Creative Time design team is sharing masculine projects on our blogs today.  This is a monochromatic card in blue with a movie night theme.

Sentiment:
Enjoy a movie night.  You deserve it.

This card can be used as a greeting card or as a gift card holder by tucking a movie card inside.  It is great for the guys or the gals.

BBQ Masculine Card + Copic markers & ink blending tutorial

 Masculine card making is easy with Unity stamps and color.  Today, on the Unity blog, I am sharing a way to add color to masculine stamping for a BBQ scene.

Sentiments:

King of the grill.  Happy birthday.
Wishing you a perfect day. 

For this card, I added Copics plus distress oxide ink blending to build color.  This complements the masculine card making process.

Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for this example of masculine card making.  To begin, stamp the grill items onto cardstock using Copic friendly ink.  Next, trim or die-cut the stamped panel to fit onto the card base.  Then, add ink blending in two colors around the edges of the stamped panel.  Next, add color to the grill stamping.  I used Copic markers for this example.  Optional, add a sentiment panel.  Finally, layer it all onto the card base, to finish.

Coffee or tea mug masculine love card.

 Hello.  The My Creative Time design team is sharing masculine projects for Manly Monday on our blogs.  I decided to make a mug card that works for love, Father's Day, birthday and more.

Sentiment:
Love you lots.
Take a moment to appreciate how awesome you are.

For this card, I wanted a masculine look so I chose black, white and kraft colors.  Then, I die-cut the pieces of the mug using a mix of papers.  Stamped sentiments were added.  I used a kraft color card base to finish assembling all of the layers.

Masculine Father's Day Card ~ MCT Manly Mondy

 Hello.  The My Creative Time design team is sharing Manly Monday masculine themed projects.  Here is my Father's Day themed card for today.

For this masculine themed card, I first die-cut all of the layers and added elements.  Then, I stamped the sentiment and die-cut that.  I choose to use coordinating assorted patterned paper and cardstock.  Next, I added foam tape behind the sentiment panel to add dimension.  Finally, I adhered all of the layers and elements, to finish.

Masculine Tall or Slim Watercolor Card ~ MCT Manly Monday

Hello.  Today, the My Creative Time team is sharing masculine themed projects.  Here is my tall or slim style card for Pop.

Sentiment:  You'll always be my hero!

For this tall or slim style card, I die-cut the layers from the tall dies using mint cardstock and watercolor paper.  I then trimmed and scored my card base to fit, slightly larger than the inner layers.  Using the original Misti stamp positioning tool, I stamped the sentiment onto the watercolor panel then stamped the newspaper print onto the tag.  The letters were die-cut and placed over the tag.  Watercolor was added to the watercolor paper layer and then heat set.  Everything was assembled and layered onto the trimmed card base, to finish.

Family love chair card ~ clean and simple with Copics

Today, I am sharing another card using the fun home and family stamps in the May 2020 Unity kit of the month.  I love the chair and pillows included with the family sentiments.

Sentiment:  Family.  I love our family and I love you.

This card was made using teal and gray colors.  I used the comfy chair and throw pillows.  Plus, I added one of the sentiments to a pillow by cutting the stamp and then stamping shorter word sections.  The family sentiment flag was hand-trimmed.  For color, Copics were used in layers for a soft look.  And the background is a piece of dry embossing, leftover from another project.  Finally, I fussy cut the pieces and layered it all to finish.

I kept this card clean and simple CAS style.  This could easily be made for other occasions like house warming or birthday just by changing out the sentiments.

How to make slim cards. 2 masculine cards ~ Father's Day or birthday

Hello.  I am sharing two slimline masculine cards, perfect for Father's Day, Birthday or any time.

Sentiment:  My Father is the best Dad ever.

This first card was made using teal and gray colors.  I used a diagonal die-cut layer in white with a gray background trimmed piece of cardstock.  A paper trimmer was used to make the background panel and the card base.  It is not necessary to use die-cut layers to get the slim line card style.  A paper trimmer works perfectly for trimming to fit your envelope size.

Also, I made another card in blue and gray.  This time, I die-cut the diagonal panel in gray and trimmed a white background layer.  Again, die-cuts are not necessary.  A neutral stamped panel behind the ties would give a great background look.

How to make a slim card base to fit into an #9 or #10 business size envelope:
Use a thicker cardstock and a paper trimmer.
Cut the cardstock 9 1/4" x 8".
Using a scoring board, score the shortest end at 4".

Masculine card with Inktense watercolor pencils.

For today's Watercolor Wednesday, we are working with Inktense watercolor pencils along with masculine card stamping.

Sentiment:
Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Dad. 

For this masculine Father themed card, I began by stamping in different colors using the Misti and watercolor paper.  Color was added using watercolor pencils.  Then, I fussy cut and layered everything to finish the card.

Masculine Card with Inktense Watercolor Pencils

Begin by stamping with waterproof ink onto watercolor paper.  I used Ranger archival ink and the Misti.
For watercolor, lightly sketch near the outlines with Inktense watercolor pencils onto dry paper.
Using a wet watercolor brush, pull out the color from the sketches.  Repeat with all color sections. 
Add more watercolor layers if you want.  Heat set between different colors, especially for detailed areas.
Another way to get watercolor from the pencil is brush to pencil tip.  Dab a wet brush over the tip to make a color palette.
I like this method to get a lighter shade or mixing different colors together.
Once dry cut out the car, the sentiment and the frame.  Assemble all of the layers to finish.

Masculine MVP Card ~ MCT Manly Monday

Today, on the MCT blog, we are sharing Manly Monday projects.
I am sharing a masculine style card for Dad.

Sentiment:  All Star Dad.

For the background, I used get schooled stamps and the MVP with repeat stamping.  Then, I stamped the chunky tags with the sentiment.  It is a quick and easy card for Dad's birthday, Father's Day or any time.

Masculine Cars Card ~ Kind Brave Strong and Fierce

This is an all occasion masculine card featuring lots of vintage cars.

Sentiment:  This guy.  Kind Brave Strong and Fierce.

This is for the guys.  I think it works for most occasions including birthday, congratulations, etc.
The cars were made from a single background stamp.  I can see this getting used often.
