Christmas Latte Card ~ MCT 115th Edition Release, Sale & Blog Hop

Hi, it's Gaylynn.  The My Creative Time 115th Edition release, sale and blog hop has begun.  The design team is sharing project inspiration on our blogs.  Please visit each blog in the blog hop and leave a comment on each of the release posts for prize chances.
See the "Buy More, Save More" sale, below!

Sentiment:
Sending you a flurry of warm winter wishes.

For this holiday card, I chose the colors of blue and white.  I see those as winter colors that go with the sentiment.  I love the mug, which can be for coffee or tea lovers, especially.  It would also be great paired with a gift card.

A tribute to Ginger (My Sister's Scrapper) ~ A card inspired by her!

Hello, and welcome to my blog.  This post is dedicated to my fellow My Creative Time design team member, Ginger Ropp, in her memory.  I wanted to honor her by creating something in Ginger's style.  Here is my layered and vintage-style holiday card.

Sentiment:  Peace on earth.

One of the things Ginger enjoyed was the love for paper crafting.  I got to know her from working on the MCT design team.  During that time, I remember her upbeat spirit, friendliness and energy that shined through.  She made lovely projects from beautiful designer paper and embellishments.  Scrapbooking, mini albums, cards and interactive paper crafts are some of the things she loved to make.

Tree Shaker Card ~ MCT 114th Edition Blog Hop, Release & Sale

Hi, it's Gaylynn.  The My Creative Time 114th Edition release, sale and blog hop has begun.  The design team is sharing project inspiration on our blogs.  Please visit each blog in the blog hop and leave a comment on each of the release posts.

For the blog hop, you may have arrived from Emily's blog.

Sentiment:  Merry Christmas.

For this holiday card, I used two Christmas trees, one being a shaker element filled with sequins and confetti.  The tree pieces were die-cut and the front tree includes ink blending for the background.  Then the shaker was assembled.  Finally, I layered the two trees and a sentiment tag onto the card base, to finish.

Pumpkin Topper ~ MCT 113th Edition Release & Blog Hop

Hi, it's Gaylynn.  The My Creative Time 113th Edition release, sale and blog hop has begun.  The design team is sharing project inspiration on our blogs.  Please visit each blog in the blog hop and leave a comment on each of the release posts.
For the blog hop, you may have arrived from Emily's blog.

Sentiment:  You are pretty amazing.

For this pumpkin card, I decided to make it a circle shape card with non-traditional pumpkin colors.  I think that it would work for Autumn, Thanksgiving or any time of the year.  Even though the die set was designed as a treat topper, the pumpkin pieces in the set can be used on their own, like in my card.  It is very versatile.

To make this circle-shaped card, gather the dies and accessories noted below.  Then die-cut all of the pieces using different colors of cardstock and/or patterned paper.  Next, stamp and trim the sentiment for the center of the card.  Also, use a mixture of flat and foam tape for added card dimension.  To finish, layer all of the pieces and add embellishments to finish.
