Juniper fun fold card with colored pencils.

Hi crafty friends.  Today for the Unity blog, I am sharing a juniper fun fold card with colored pencils.  It includes a flip up element for writing your inside greeting.  The style can be used with almost any stamp or theme.

Sentiment:
His mercies are new every morning; Great is His faithfulness.  "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, therefore I hope in Him!"  Lamentations 3:23:24

For color, I used colored pencils along with ink blending to accent the juniper stamping.  I also incorporated an inspirational spiritual theme.

Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for making this fun fold card with colored pencils.  To begin, prepare an A2 sized card base with a top score fold.  I used cream cardstock.  And, trim or die-cut an inside panel in kraft color.  Then, stamp towards the juniper at the top of the card front panel.  Also, stamp and trim the sentiment separately.  Next, using colored pencils, color the berries in a few different shades.  Then, add ink blending around the stamping plus added white paint splatters. Once colored, cut the front panel just below the stamping to create a top flip up element.  Next, tie cording around the top juniper panel.  Finally,  adhere the inside panel and sentiment to the card base, to finish.

And, this is another look at today's project.

I share a quick video here, outlining this project process.
