Autumn card embellishments & paper piecing

Today for Unity Stamp Company, I am sharing Autumn card embellishments to dress up card making.  Adding extra paper piecing accents helps to set the scene.

Mixing complementary stamp sets expands the embellishment possibilities.

Helpful tips:
In summary, to make this using Autumn card embellishments, begin by preparing an A2 sized card base from kraft color card stock.  Then, onto smooth white cardstock, stamp the scene and the sentiment.  Also, trim or die-cut the stamped panel for use as the card front.  Next, color in the stamping.  Then, onto Fall colored patterned paper, stamp two leaves and then fussy cut (cut out) them.  For added details, use ink blending around the leaves paper piecing and the card front panel in dark brown.  (The patterned paper that I used is from BasicGray but it is retired.  Optional Autumn paper is linked below.) Finally, adhere the card front and the layered leaves to the card base using thin foam double-sided tape, to finish.

Here is a closer look at the finished card.
