Pearlescent watercolor and gold embossing on black

 Today for Unity Stamp Company, I share pearlescent watercolor and gold embossing on black paper.  This matching sympathy set of cards and a gift tag were made quickly and easily with a couple of unique watercolor products.


Almost any stamp and theme can be used for this watercolor and embossing technique.

Watercolor holiday card scene ~ Santa's list

For today on the Unity Stamp Company blog, I share this darling little Pooh Bear watercolor holiday card scene.  This one features Santa's list with the fun check mark "I tried".


For watercolor, I decided to try watercolor brush pens by Altenew for the first time.  This project turned out much more rich in color than I intended.  More practice with the pens is in order for me.

Hello and welcome.  Here is another project for the Unity blog. I have a watercolor graduation wobble card with a bit of humor.  This one was made simple for a guy or gal.

For this card, I only used the cap at the stamp focus along with a fun sentiment.

Hi friends.  Today for the Unity blog, I have a watercolor graduation hat floral card, ready for celebrating.

Sentiment:
Bittersweet endings, exciting beginnings.

For a soft look, I added watercolor for color in coral and teal shades.  Also, I chose a complementing sheet of patterned paper to accent.

This is a messy project but really fun to do.  Use the water-soluble inks that you have on hand or reinkers.

Loose watercolor vintage floral card.

 Hello.  Today, I am sharing a loose watercolor vintage floral card with a mail or postage theme.  I kept this soft and muted for vintage coloring.


Sentiment:  Take time to make your soul happy.

The vintage layered stamping inspired me to use soft pastel colors for watercolor on the flower and on the background.

Watercolor with dye ink pads ~ Sunflower card topper

 Hello.  Today, I am sharing watercolor with dye ink pads for this sunflower card topper.  This is a fun way to use almost any stamp, especially background stamps.


Sentiment:

Thankful for you.

You don't need fancy watercolor sets if you have dye ink pads.  When water is added to a palette, the ink becomes great for adding watercolor to cards.

Using leftover paper scraps ~ butterfly frame card

 Hello.  Today, on the Unity blog, I am sharing an idea for using leftover paper scraps for card making.  I like to keep scraps that I think could easily be incorporated into future projects.

This layered card was fun to make with treasures from my box of paper scraps.

Bible journal art with stamping, Copic markers and watercolor.

 Hello.  Today, on the Unity blog, I am sharing techniques for bible journal art with stamping along with coloring using Copic markers and Prima chalk ink for watercolor.

For this bible journal art with stamping, I chose a leaf border in chalk ink along with the Unity stamps.  This is great for including the men in our lives and especially Fathers and sons in bible page art.
