Take care floral butterfly card ~ Stamp In Color

 Hey there.  Thanks for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a way to stamp in color and use colored pencils on kraft cardstock, for Unity Stamp Co.  This provides a subtle look by combining the two techniques.

Stamping different ink colors with a touch of colored pencils works beautifully on kraft.

 Greetings.  Some cards are difficult to make because sometimes there are no words in difficult times.  This is an idea of a simply stamped card with a heartfelt sentiment.

Cat themed get well or surprise card

Hi there!  Here is a super cute monochromatic cat themed card.  This is great for surprises or get well occasions.  It was made simple with a bit of Copic marker coloring and patterned paper.

Combining Woodgrain & Floral ~ Uplifting Card

 For today, I am sharing an uplifting card featuring two Unity Stamp Co. kits that work perfectly together, I think.  This is also up on the Unity blog today.



Sentiment:
The grace with which you handle this journey is nothing short of beautiful.

The woodgrain is the February 2024 background of the month and provides the perfect backdrop for the mug of flowers from Kit of the Month.  The sentiment is beautiful and uplifting for support or thinking of you occasions.

This one shimmers much better in person.  It is a great way to show that you care in times like these.

Juniper fun fold card with colored pencils.

 Hi crafty friends.  Today for the Unity blog, I am sharing a juniper fun fold card with colored pencils.  It includes a flip up element for writing your inside greeting.  The style can be used with almost any stamp or theme.


Sentiment:
His mercies are new every morning; Great is His faithfulness.  "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, therefore I hope in Him!"  Lamentations 3:23:24

For color, I used colored pencils along with ink blending to accent the juniper stamping.  I also incorporated an inspirational spiritual theme.

Stamp layering with floral red rubber stamps ~ tutorial

Hello.  Today, I am sharing a set of two cards using stamp layering with red rubber flower stamps.  This is meant to look whimsical and playful, not perfect.  The layers offset a bit, as intended.

These were easily made with no coloring involved.  Just stamp the layers in different colors to get this playful floral look.  I chose bold colors for this card to make them really pop.

Wet and dry embossing techniques ~ chrysanthemum card

 Hello.  Today, on the Unity blog, I am sharing wet and dry embossing techniques featuring stamping and Copic marker coloring.  Mixing embossing on a card looks pretty, especially with a bit of gold shimmer.

Wet and dry embossing techniques work great together on a card.  This chrysanthemum flower pops against the subtle background.

Friendship or family cancer support card with girls.

 Today, I am sharing a heartfelt card for support.  This one has a friendship theme for battling cancer.


Sentiments:
Hey cancer, you picked the wrong girl.
Sometimes the girl who is always there for someone else needs someone there for her.
I am here for you.
Inside:  Never be afraid of a scar.  It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.

These girls can be paired with endless other sentiments.  But, this card was made special for a dear friend.
