Holiday gift card holder tag ~ MCT Gift Card Giving

Hello.  The My Creative Time design team is sharing gift card giving projects today.  I decided to make a gift card holder tag with a holiday theme.

Sentiment:  Merry Christmas

This holiday gift card holder tag was made quickly using the tag & icon dies.  I used a mix of solid and patterned paper for the pieces.  The sentiment was stamped, die-cut and added to the tag front along with the stocking piece.

This works as a stocking stuffer, a gift package tag, a wine tag or inside of an envelope.

Here is another look.

Supplies:  My Creative Time Gift Card Greetings, Gift Card Tag Dies.
Also, MFT Stripe Splash paper and Moroccan Spice premium dye ink; Gina K. Designs connect glue, twine, foam tape, double-sided paper.

Holiday or Christmas gift tag set with Unity stamps

Today, I am sharing a cute holiday gift tag set featuring traditional Christmas icons.  I made an assortment to go with different gift bags, gift packages, wine gifts and stocking stuffers.

Helpful tips:

To create this, begin by stamping onto cardstock using Copic friendly ink or ink for use with your color medium.  Next, color in the holiday icons.  Then, trim or die-cut the stamping.  Also, trim or die-cut a background layer for each icon layer.  Use cardstock in a color to match the coloring.  I used different colors to go with whatever holiday packaging that I gift during the holidays.  Finally, add cording and adhere each of the gift tag layers, to finish.

 Supplies:
Unity Stamp Co. stamp set called Holly Jolly Holiday.
Also, cording, foam double-sided tape, assorted Copic markers, My Creative Time fancy 4x4 card dies and square tag dies; My Favorite Things card stock in jalapeno popper, lazy day and red hot.

Merry Christmas! Fun multiple layer gift tags for many occasions.

For today, I am showing a way to make multiple-layer gift tags using stamping and patterned paper.  Tags like these can be made for most occasions, using many sentiment stamps.

These funny sentiments were fun to work with.  The process involves assembling the tags in layers with stamping and papers of choice.  This can be used as a gift tag, a card accent or as a wine tag.  See below for details and a video tutorial.

Here are helpful tips for creating these multiple layer gift tags.  To begin, pre-stamp your sentiments of choice, leaving room for trimming and die-cutting.  Also, pre-cut all of the tag layers and the cording.  Next, adhere glitter paper accents and the sentiment pieces.  Then position the patterned paper layers.  If you want to keep the layers offset, add a bit of double-sided adhesive on layers.  Finally, add twine, cording or ribbon to the top of each tag to finish.
The assembly process is made easier by stamping, cutting and adhering in multiples.

Have a great day.

Coffee Break ~ Day 2 MCT 97th Edition Sneak Peeks

Hi there, it's Gaylynn.  Here is a sneak peek of the My Creative Time 97th Edition release.  This is a coffee cup shaped gift card holder.

Sentiment:  Take a well deserved coffee break.

The best part of this gift card holder is that it is shaped just like a coffee house cup.  I included kraft, red and white colors and a heart.  Also, the sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in white.  This can be for almost any occasion.  There is an opening under the lid for a gift card.  And to make it even better, it is close to an A2 size which will fit perfectly inside of an A2 envelope.  I can tell that this die set is going to get lots of use.

Embossed ombre tag and money envelope + video.

For Technique Time at Unity, I am sharing an embossed ombre tag and money envelope.  I use a mix of stamping and heat embossing.

Sentiment:  Merry Christmas

Here is a holiday gift wrap idea.  For those who want cash for Christmas, a decorated envelope and gift tag makes a nice presentation.

Here are helpful tips for creating the ombre tag and money envelope.  To begin, I pre-cut an envelope panel and a vellum panel for stamping.  I used a die-cut money holder envelope, but an existing solid envelope works.  The gray envelope panel was stamped with background strips and heat embossed in white.  Next, the vellum was stamped and heat embossed using three shades of ColorBox ink.  This creates an ombre tag and money holder accent.  Then, the vellum was trimmed and made into a tag.  Finally, to finish, adhesive gems were added and then everything was layered onto the envelope.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.
