Bible journal art with stamping and watercolor.

Hello and welcome.  Today, I am sharing bible journaling, specifically, watercolor art to add to my bible pages.

Sentiments:
Prayer changes things.
He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings, you will find refuge.

Sentiments:
She is strong ~ Proverbs 31:25
Tomorrow needs you.

This was a joy to make.  Adding art to my bible is a pretty way to complement writings and the words.

Mixed media scrapbook layout pages ~ handmade elements

Hi there.  For Technique Time at Unity, I share four coordinating scrapbook layout pages using handmade elements as accents.  These pages incorporate a variety of techniques and mediums which work together beautifully.

Helpful tips:
Here are helpful tips for scrapbook layout pages.  Please note, refer to the video for the detailed steps and the tutorial.  To begin, have a theme or coordinating colors in mind and have those supplies for the project on hand.  Next, make your own handmade accents and elements by stamping, embossing and adding watercolor to those accent pieces.  Then, once dry, trim or fussy cut (cut out) the handmade elements.  Next, create a stenciled corner background onto each of the cardstock scrapbook layout pages.  Finally, add accent frame stamping and then adhere the handmade elements, to finish.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

My favorite thing about this snowman is the hair.  How FUN.
We don't get to play in the snow here in Florida, but we do make sand snowmen.  haha

This one is near and dear to my heart.

Sentiment:  She was full of hope.

This is a vintage mixed media style scrapbook layout page, dedicated to my lovely mama.
She really was full of hope.  I miss her dearly.

I made this for a Unity release.  When I saw this stunning sentiment and heart, I knew just how to use them.  I had to make a tribute to her with them.

Here is a quick tip video tutorial for this layout page.

Safely using Copic Markers in a Bible Journal

Here is a way to add art coloring like Copic Markers with bible journaling.

Sentiment:  What was.. was.  What is.. is.  What will be.. will be.  So live, love and enjoy the moment & take it as it comes.

I wanted to incorporating bold coloring and stamping, but wanted to preserve the thin bible pages.
Here is an easy way to make a tab for when you do not want ink or markers to bleed through to the back side of the bible page.

I have more bible journal posts sharing different techniques and tips crafting with the thin bible pages.

I made a quick tip video tutorial with this girl.
