Stencil frame moose card

Hi.  Thanks for visiting.  Today I am sharing a stencil frame moose card.  This is similar to a previous project that I made using eclipse stenciling, but for this one, I added more blending for a rustic look.

Sentiment:

Since the background paper was dark green, I added even more of the ink blending during the masking process.

Watercolor Valentine card + using frame scraps.

 Hello and welcome.  Today, I am sharing a watercolor Valentine card featuring big hearts and a coordinating frame layer using scraps from a previous project.

These big candy hearts sure make an impact on Valentine's Day or love occasions.

New Home ~ Watercolor Frame Card

 Hello and welcome.  Today, I am sharing a watercolor frame style card with a new home theme.  This stamp is one large background for a perfect background.

Sentiment:
New home.  New beginning.  New memories.

This is a perfect card to give someone for a house warming.  The watercolor background and the sentiment work great together, with or without a frame on the front.

Triple window card ~ My Creative Time Tag It Tuesday

Hello.  Today, the My Creative Time team is sharing tag projects.  I decided to make a triple window tall or slimline card made from MCT tag dies. 

Sentiment:  Thankful for you.

This turned out just the way that I had hoped it would, using a tag die and watercolor for the florals, the leaves and for the background.  

Using leftover paper scraps ~ butterfly frame card

 Hello.  Today, on the Unity blog, I am sharing an idea for using leftover paper scraps for card making.  I like to keep scraps that I think could easily be incorporated into future projects.

Open window frame card plus dry embossing

This open window frame card can work with or without embossing and almost any stamps.  This one includes background stamping as well.

Using watercolor neutrals for softness ~ Mailbox card tutorial

     Hello.  Today, on the Unity blog, I am using watercolor neutrals for color on this mailbox birthday card.  Using light shades and colors paired with neutral paper provides a soft look.

This soft mailbox outdoor scene is perfect for watercolor neutrals and for almost any occasion and for greeting card sending.

Open framed window gnome card inside & out ~ card tutorial

Today, I am sharing a cute open framed window card featuring an adorable gnome.  This one has a get well theme.

Sentiment:

Get well wishes for a friend like gnome other.

Helpful tips:

To create this card, begin by stamping onto the front of an A2 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded card front.  Stamp the gnome and the sentiment using Copic friendly ink, with enough room to cut out the gnome portion.  Next, die-cut the gnome from the stamped portion only on the front card panel.  Also, nesting two square layering dies together over black cardstock creates a frame to use at the end.  Then, remove the gnome die-cut piece and color in the stamping.  I used Copic markers.  Next, place the gnome piece inside of the open frame of the closed card base to adhere it to the inside panel.  Then, using glue, carefully adhere the black frame around the open front card panel.  Finally, to finish, reinforce the bottom front panel with a strip of heavy cardstock.  My video will show the process.
