Mixed Media Watercolor Card ~ Flower Vase

Hello and welcome.  Today, I am sharing a mixed media watercolor card featuring a flower vase along with gold embossed accents.

Sentiment:
You are in my thoughts.

For this project, I used a mix of embossing, stamping, watercolor painting and hearts to build the layers.

I made a video tutorial for this project.

Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for making this mixed media watercolor card.  To begin, stamp the vase and the sentiment onto watercolor cardstock with waterproof ink.  Next, prepare an A2 sized card base from kraft color cardstock.  Then, add watercolor to the flower vase panel.  Once dried, add gold embossing paste using a stencil.  I used polka dots.  Dry completely.  Then, add die-cut hearts for added accents.  Finally, layer it all onto the card base, to finish.

Here is a closer look.
