No photo description available.

This is a sweet birthday card featuring a jar with accessories.  I think that this would go perfectly with a gift of bath and body products, candles, jams, honey, etc.
For this card, I die-cut jar pieces and a card border from patterned paper.  Silver cardstock was used for the jar handle.  And the sentiment was heat embossed in white.  I like the dimension that the layers offer.

Metallix gel pearl stencil card background + Zig watercolor..

For Technique Time at Unity, I am showing one way to make a pearl stencil card background.  Also, this incorporates a bit of watercolor with stamping.

Sentiment:  Happy pregnancy.

This is a pregnancy themed card with pickles and a pearl stencil card background.  I also use stamping and watercolor.

Here are helpful tips for creating this card.  To begin, I pre-cut an oval frame from patterned paper.  Next, I applied metallix gel to make a pearl stencil card background.  Once that dried, the stencil panel was die-cut with added waxed paper.  Then, I stamped and added watercolor to the pickle jar.  Finally, to finish, everything was layered onto the card base and assembled.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Color burst watercolor card scene + colored card base.

For Technique Time at Unity, I am sharing a color burst watercolor card scene with a sweet mouse.  Also, this is a way to use colored cardstock for a card base.

Sentiment:  Thinking of you.

This is a bright and cheerful card that can be used for the holidays or most celebration occasions.  It includes color burst watercolor, heat embossing and a card base in double-sided green cardstock.

Here are helpful tips for creating this card.  To begin, I pre-cut and scored green cardstock for the card base.  Also, I pre-cut lace trim and a watercolor panel.  Next, I mixed and applied color burst watercolor in yellow and in green.  Once that dried, I stamped and heat embossed the mouse scene.  Also, the sentiment was stamped and trimmed with darker ink to make it stand out better.  Finally, to finish, everything was layered onto the card base and assembled.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Poppy flowers thank you card with two toned stamping.

For Technique Time at Unity, I am sharing a card with poppy flowers, ink shading and patterned paper.  I use two toned stamping for the flowers.

Sentiment:  Many thanks.

This is a sweet layered floral card highlighting the flowers.  The two toned stamping is great with solid stamps like this.

Here are helpful tips for creating this card.  To begin, I pre-cut and assembled the background layers from patterned paper.  Next, I stamped the flowers onto a small panel using two toned stamping in red and black.  Then, to soften the look, I added distress ink blending around the flowers.  Also, I used excess scrap pieces for the card accents.  Finally, to finish, everything was layered onto the card base and assembled.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Holiday gift tags with easy stamping and layering.

For holiday gift-giving, these quick and easy handmade tags help to make a nice presentation.

Here is a set of three handmade Christmas gift tags.  These were made using patterned paper and stamping.  With punches or die-cuts, the shapes can vary in shape and size.  I chose to use tag dies that I had on hand to cut out the background and the top stamped layers.  These are quick and easy to make in multiples.  I recommend that you stamp all at once on a bigger sheet of paper, leaving enough space between the sentiments for the die-cutting.  This technique works for any occasion.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.
