Flower jar encouragement card ~ amazing, brave, strong.

Here is a floral card, perfect for encouragement or support.

Sentiment:  You are amazing, you are brave, you are strong.

I love flowers in a jar.  These could be cotton buds, but I added color to them anyway.  For the frame accents, I used a masking technique along with distress ink to blend accent edges.  The flowers and the jar were shaded with Copics.

See the complete quick video tutorial:

Here is a closer look.

Supplies:  Unity Stamp Co. Difficult Roads, Ranger distress ink pad, My Creative Time and Winnie and Walter dies, twine and Copic markers Y21, G21, BG10, B01, BG53, C3, C1, B06, B14.

Hello beautiful vellum stamping girl card.

This is an all occasion card using vellum and torn edges for accent.

Sentiment:  Hello beautiful.

One of the techniques that I love is adding color to vellum stamping.  For this girl, I added Copics to the opposite side of the stamping.  This created a soft look to the stamped side.
For the accent, I wanted an imperfect ragged vellum edge, tearing in towards me.  Color was added to the edges using an ink pad.

See the complete quick video tutorial.

Here is a closer look.

Supplies:  Unity Stamp Co. Quiet Mind and Trust The Timing; vellum, Ranger archival and StazOn ink; Copic markers R37, R35, RV29, RV19, E71, E37, E18, E29, E13, E33, G99; plum cardstock.

Have a great day.

Gift Card Holder ~ MCT 85th Edition Release and Blog Hop

Hi, Gaylynn here.  It is the MCT 85th Edition release, sale and blog hop.
You may have arrived from Emily's blog.

Sentiment:  Sending a little Christmas magic your way.

For this card, I combined a holiday greeting card with a gift card holder.  This is a fun way to present a gift and greeting in one.  I included a sentiment tab and a Santa.  The Santa was stamped onto kraft color paper and then colored pencils were used to color him in.
The gift card holder is adhered to the card front.  But the holder opens to display the actual gift card.

Sweet gifts ~ Unity + My Sweet Petunia blog hop

Hi, it's Gaylynn here.  Unity Stamp Co. and My Sweet Petunia are collaborating for the start of the Brown Thursday release and blog hop.
We are also joining forces for a separate insta hop on Instagram.

Sentiment:  Special Delivery.

Lately, it seems that gift cards and cash are what is requested for gifts.  And so I like to dress them up a bit.  I die-cut a little gift box from double-sided paper and then trimmed a piece of paper to wrap around the box.  The wrap portion slides up or down.  The mouse was a perfect decoration for this little gift box.

Here is the gift card holder box video tutorial.

And here is another look.

I also made a holiday angel card with a night scene.

Sentiment:  May your Christmas be a time of joy and peace.

The background was pre-colored using Brusho watercolor.  The Brusho technique can be found here.
For this card, I share how easily stamping can be using the Misti stamping tool.

Here is the holiday angel card video tutorial.

Hugs Post-It Note Holder ~ MCT 3-D Wednesday

Today, on the MCT blog, we are sharing 3-D projects.
Here is a fun way to wrap post-it notes for gift giving or for holiday stocking stuffers.

Sentiment:  Hugs

This was fun and easy to make.  I began by die-cutting double-sided patterned paper.  I stamped and cut out the hugs word.  A touch of color was added around the sentiment for accents.  Then everything was assembled.  This will be one of the stocking stuffer gifts this Christmas.

An inspirational planner page with Copics & stamping.

Since it is the beginning of November, I thought it would be fun to add to my planner monthly cover page.

I love the inspirational sentiment and the beautiful light bulb filled with flowers, included in this month's Uniquely Unity stamp set.  With a little Copic coloring and fussy cutting, this was ready to accent my planner page.

Here is a quick video tutorial on the process.

Watercolor Flowers and Background Accents Card

For Watercolor Wednesday on the Unity blog, here are watercolor flowers against background accents.

Sentiment:  Be strong & He will strengthen your heart.  Psalm 31:24

For this card, I stamped onto watercolor paper and then die-cut the panels.  I use watercolor pencils for the flowers and the background.  Everything was layered to finish.

Holiday glitter hat gift tags ~ MCT Tag It Tuesday

Today, on the MCT blog, we are sharing Tag It Tuesday projects.
Here are two Santa hat shaped holiday gift tags.

Sentiment:  Happy holidays

These tags were created using the MCT Santa hat lollipop holder die set.  It was super easy to clip off the hats at each end to create two tags.  The holes were even part of the die-cut, making it extra quick to make.  After stamping the sentiment onto the kraft color paper, the edges were lightly shaded with distress ink.  I added glue and marble glitter to the hat trim and made holly leaves as a cute accent.
Glitter tip:  Use hair spray over the glitter to help keep the glitter in place.

Supplies:  MCT Santa Hat Lollipop Holder Die and Holiday Tags Stamp & Die Set; Ranger red geranium archival ink, fired brick distress ink, sponge dauber, Sizzix big shot, MSC marble glitter, glue, adhesive pearl, twine, assorted cardstock.

Be sure to visit Miss Emma's My Creative Time blog for more inspiration.

Best wishes.

Holiday fox gold foil card ~ Unity + Beth Duff Designs blog hop.

Hi, it's Gaylynn here.  Unity Stamp Co. and Beth Duff Designs are collaborating for a brand new release and blog hop.
We are also joining forces for a separate insta hop on Instagram.

Sentiment:  Missing you this holiday season.

I am sharing a sweet holiday card made with adhesive foil and stamping.  The gold sheets have a peel away adhesive backing.  Sometimes I peel it away and other times I leave on the backing for extra thickness depending on the project.
Stamping with StazOn ink works for me.  But I have not tested many other inks on this paper.

I framed the circle with die-cut glitter paper.  Then, I trimmed a frame for the sentiment using black lace.  I really like the gold and black against the white card base.

Here is the holiday fox card video tutorial.

And here is another look.

Prize Chances:
We have TWO amazing Unity filled prize packages to give away. Leave a comment on EACH design team member’s blog in the hop for your chance to win. {We will announce the winners on the Unity blog TUESDAY night, 10-30-18.}
