Masculine card stamping and layering ~ tutorial

Hello.  Today, on the Unity blog, I am sharing masculine card stamping and layering using a mix of stamps and techniques.  This is great for Father's Day, birthday or any time.

Sentiment:
You're the best tool in the box.

For this card, I added masculine card stamping and layering along with heat embossing and ink blending.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for masculine card stamping and layering.  To begin, onto dark cardstock, heat emboss the stamps, tools and the sentiment using white embossing powder.  Next, stamp the plaid background and die-cut or trim to make a bottom border accent.  Then, add ink blending to the plaid for an accent color.  Also, use excess scraps for hearts and sentiment trimmings.  Finally, layer it all onto the card base, to finish.

The hearts were cut from a previous watercolor project scrap piece.  If you want to see how I made the vibrant watercolor panel, see that post HERE.
