Hello and welcome. Here is a set of two vellum-embossed sympathy cards. They are heat embossed and made flat for easy mailing.
Nothing in life prepares us for losing someone we love.
My condolences to you and your family.
Here are helpful tips for creating this vellum embossed sympathy card set. To begin, prepare two A2-sized card bases in white. Next, trim or die-cut layers of colored cardstock and vellum to make the look of a frame design. Also, trim or die-cut a white panel to be trimmed for the sentiments. Then, onto the heat-resistant vellum, apply anti-static powder and stamp using embossing ink. Also, add white embossing ink over the stamping and heat set. Next, position and trim a wonky topper to the card width and then stamp the sentiment. Repeat for the second card. Finally, using flat double-sided tape or an ATG, adhere all of the layers onto the card base, to finish.
Here, I am sharing another look at the card set.

How to you adhere the vellum to the colored panel without the tape showing? This card is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi. I use flat double sided tape. For these cards, I added tape at the top sections and behind the leaves. Then a sentiment topper layer was added at the top to cover the adhesive that shows through.
