For this month, I am sharing a pink inspired floral birthday card.
Be sure to hop along on the blogs and on socials throughout the month for even more handmade birthday card inspiration and ideas.
Here are helpful tips for making this. To begin, prepare an A2 sized card base using colored cardstock. Then, trim or die-cut a stamp panel and a frame a bit larger than the stamped panel. Also, either stamp the sentiments separately or stamp them onto the card front directly. Next, using a stamp positioning tool like the Misti, stamp the flowers and the birthday sentiment to one side of the card front panel, using alcohol friendly ink like a hybrid ink pad. Then, heat set and color in your stamping. I used Copic markers, but use what you have on hand. Next, add little embellishments like doily pieces or leftover scraps. Finally, layer it all using glue or flat double-sided tape onto the card base. Optional, add a few dots of Nuvo drops or gems, to finish.
Here is a closer look at this pink floral birthday card.
