Hello, and welcome to the My Creative Time "5" Days of Christmas"! This week we will be sharing with you lots of last-minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, tags, treat holders, gift card holders and whatever else comes to mind that will help YOU get your creative juices flowing for the holidays! Just leave your comments on each of our blogs!
Today is Day 5 of our 5 Days of Christmas! We all will be showcasing our own project of choice!
Sometimes, I like to use a gift tag on a greeting card. It always add interest and some dimension. This one is extra nice as it has a flap that opens and closed on the card front.
To make this simply die-cut the elements in your choice of solid color cardstock. Next, prepare an A2 sized card base in white. Then, die-cut all of the elements for the folded tag and the bow. Also, stamp and die-cut the sentiments. Next, for the background, trim a diagonal piece of coordinating patterned paper from the same pad and adhere it to the card base. Then, assemble the tag and the bow. Finally, layer it all onto the card base, to finish.

So pretty, Gaylynn, I, too, have a soft spot for tags. This looks so nice! I love the paper! TFS all week, the projects were gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteAwe thanks Linda.
DeleteGaylynn, what a wonderful card design! The pretty panel doesn't need to be added to another card base, as everything is on the front! LOVE this idea, especially since I'm not a big fan of card bases. I often just make the fronts, then add an extra, pretty die cut panel to the back, for sturdiness. So many things are 'one layer' these days...and with paper being challenging to find, this works for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you for fabulous inspiration this week!
