Glitz ~ December 2022 Friends of Unity Blog Hop

Hello and welcome.  The December 2022 Friend's Of Unity blog hop inspiration is Glitter & Glitz.  I hope that you will join in on the fun and inspiration.  Simply comment on each blog in the hop.  See the end of this post for your next stop.

Here is my glitzy project for December using gold & silver watercolor on black watercolor paper.

This is the same card showing different looks when light shines on it.  The left is normal lighting and the right is with the light shining on the gold.

Sentiment:

The card above shimmers so beautifully when the light hits it just right.
Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for making this glitz card.  To begin, prepare a background panel on black watercolor paper using gold watercolor and water.  Mist with a water spray bottle to allow the color to move around the paper.  Repeat with silver or white watercolor and allow the colors to move.  Then, heat set completely or leave out to dry.  Next, stamp and heat emboss the flowers in white over the dried watercolor panel.  Also, die-cut the hello sentiment and adhere to the watercolor panel.  Then, add gold Nuvo drops for accent.  Dry completely.  Finally, adhere the card front to the card base using foam tape, to finish.
