Holiday pocket card with a removable gift tag and foiling.
Here is a holiday card and gift tag in one. It is a pocket style card with a removable foiled gift tag inside.
Sentiment: Joyful Holidays.
For this card, I first made a little pocket front out of patterned paper, cut and scored. This was added to the card base. Then I foiled and die-cut the sentiment. It was made into a gift tag and then inserted into the card pocket to finish. It is a simple card design that provides a tag gift for the recipient.
The pocket front was cut 5" x 3".
The sides and the bottom of the pocket were scored at 1/2".
The sides and bottom were adhered with double-sided tape.
That front pocket layer was adhered to the card base on the sides and the bottom only, leaving the top portion open for the gift tag.
I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.
