May Desk Calendar

Today I want to share a closer look at my May desk calendar page.  Two of the things I love are seasonal holidays and inspirational sentiments.  So, I incorporated both into into this calendar.  Here is May's theme in turquoise, peach, black and kraft colors.

Graduation Cap ~ Hats Off

This is a greeting card made for a friend's daughter for her high school graduation.  It is inspired by her yellow & black school colors as well as the Unity May challenge sketch.  It is also included in Unity's Friends With Flair projects today.




Front sentiment subway art: Accomplishment, Congratulations, DREAM, graduation, diploma, cap & gown, Hat's Off.

Inside sentiment: Life is a dream realize it.

Today I am announcing the winner of the extra new sentiment only stamp that I received as part of my recent grab bag purchase over at Unity Stamp Company.  Since I already have the itty bitty set, this extra sentiment is being shared.  I have become a fan of their red rubber cling stamps and wonderful sales there weekly.

Not Easy Being This Sweet

This is a fun birthday cupcake greeting card design.  I love these colors of mint green and peach.



Front sentiment:  It's not easy being this sweet!
Inside sentiment: Happy Birthday Sweetie!

The polka dots, flowers and swirls frame the festive cupcake, sprinkles and cherry on top.  I gave it a sentiment banner, pearls and bow accents.

Winner time...
