First up are the fun cats.

For my first project, I used Curious Cats along with some wet stenciling for the stars background. And, for the coloring of the cats, I added Copic markers. The trimmings were from twine and patterned paper to finish the sketch elements. This was fun and easy to make.

Here is a closer look at the cute cats.

Now for a wedding card.

Next up, is a wedding card using the beautiful silhouette bride and groom from the Forever Starts Today set. I decided to stamp and trim the vellum and leave it uncolored. For the accents, I used patterned paper and color cardstock. The adhesive was placed behind the bride and the groom to fasten the vellum. The edges are left softly floating.

This is another look at the vellum card.

This is the inside of the wedding card.

And finally, this is a different take on the sketch using watercolor.

For this birthday card, I first heat embossed the stamping in gold. Then, watercolor was added using watercolor from brush markers. Instead of adding color directly to the panel, I placed dabs of color from the brushes in a separate palette tray. From there I applied a tiny bit of color at a time before blending it out. I think sometimes too much color comes out of the brush pens to work directly into tiny spaces like in this stamp. So for this card, I used very narrow brushes to blend everything out in the tiny spaces. Another look at the rose card.

Here are quick videos outlining the making of these cards.
