Today, I am sharing vellum coloring for this poinsettia layered holiday greeting card. This is way to add softness along with muted color against background shades.
Sentiment:
Season's Greetings.
Peace is the beauty of life.
I used Copic markers for coloring in two ways.
Helpful tips:
To make this poinsettia card with vellum coloring, begin by preparing an A2 sized card base from color cardstock. Then, stamp the poinsettia and bottom sentiment using alcohol friendly ink onto a trimmed smooth white card front. Next, stamp the poinsettia again onto vellum cardstock using StazOn ink and all it to dry. I used a Misty stamping tool to double stamp everything. Then, color the card front layer. Also, flip the vellum over and color the opposite side of the stamped vellum using the same marker colors. You will see that once colored, the stamped side will have a softer look, ready to use on a card. Now, fussy cut (cut out) the vellum poinsettia and offset it over the background flow using a bit of foam tape. Finally, embellish as desired, to finish.
Thanks so much for visiting.
