Adding card dimension ~ winter wonderland trees tutorial

Adding card dimension gives a 3-D effect and texture.  Today on the Unity blog, I am sharing a way to build a winter scene using dimensional trees along with glitter accents.

Sentiment:  Happy Holidays.

Get pops of interest by adding card dimension with slopes and with trees.  Lifting panels with foam tape is a way to get the look.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Helpful tips:

These are helpful tips for adding card dimension for accents.  To begin, stamp the trees and die-cut them individually.  Next, stencil the background whimsical trees using glitter gel or color paste.  Also, allow dry time.  Then, trim or die-cut slopes and a background frame layer.  Next, begin building the scene by layering the black frame layer, then the stenciled panel.  Also, add two layers of slopes using foam tape.  Then, tuck the die-cut trees into the slopes with foam tape.  Finally, add the sentiment, to finish.

Here is another look.
