Watercolor sailboat scene ~ Prima water soluble oil pastels & stamping

 Today, I am sharing oil pastel watercolor with sailboat stamping.  This is a large peaceful stamp that works perfectly with the watercolor.

Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for making this card.  First, trim and score the card base and the layers.  Next, stamp the sailboat scene onto the smooth side of a watercolor paper panel.  Next, onto a palette, make color swatches from the oil pastel crayons.  Then, brush clear water over a section of the stamping.  Also, using a wet brush, mix a pastel color to liquefy it and then apply color in sections.  Repeat for all of the sections.  Apply multiple coats to some areas if preferred, drying between sections and layers.  Once dry, assemble the card, to finish.

Also, cardstock, Ranger watercolor paper, My Favorite Things wonky stitched rectangle STAX die-namics and sno cone cardstock; Prima water soluble oil pastels, Altenew palette mat, paint brushes.
