Gold watercolor butterflies sympathy card with Gansai Tambi.

For Watercolor Wednesday, I am sharing a butterfly card with gold shimmer.

Sentiment:
With sympathy.  Wishing you peace in the midst of sorrow.

For this card, I stamped and heat embossed the butterflies and the sentiment.  Gold shimmer watercolor was added  along with splatters and embellishments.

The full article and tutorial are up on the Unity blog.
I also made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Gold Watercolor Butterflies Card with Gansai Tambi
By Gaylynn Martling for Unity’s Watercolor Wednesday
(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
Powder your paper with a powder tool.  Stamp and heat emboss the butterflies and the sentiment onto watercolor paper.
I chose gold Gansai Tambi starry colors watercolor for the butterflies.  I applied two shades of gold using a watercolor brush.
Heat set between colors.  On another panel, splatter black ink.  I used Altenew watercolor for splatter.
Fussy cut the butterflies.  Add them and the sentiment to the splatter panel.
Embellish to finish.

Here is another look.

Supplies:  Unity Stamp Co. Good Things With Wings, VersaMark, black embossing powder, Original Misti, Gansai Tambi starry colors watercolor, Altenew watercolor half pans, Ranger watercolor paper, gold cording, Craftin Desert Divas sequins, My Creative Time dies, heat tool and EK Success powder tool.
