Deco Foil Transfer Gel + Stenciling + Watercolor Card

For Watercolor Wednesday, I am sharing a floral card using deco foil transfer gel, a stencil, foiling and watercolor.   I used a laminating machine for this technique.

Sentiment:
If you are outgrowing who you've been, you're right on schedule.

This is an encouragement and inspirational floral card with touches of gold foil and with dimensional watercolor accents.

The full article and tutorial are up on the Unity blog.
I also made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
Stamp with waterproof ink onto watercolor paper.  Tape the stencil over the stamping.  Preheat a laminator.
With a spatula, evenly apply deco foil transfer gel where you want the foiling.
Remove and clean the stencil and spatula immediately.
Allow gel dry time.  Then, place the deco foil over the stamping (pretty side up).
Carefully feed the stamping with the foil sheet through a preheated laminator.
(With my laminator, foiling works better without a carrier sheet, but may work perfectly with yours.)
Cool the foiling.  Then carefully peel away the foil sheet.
Prepare your watercolor palette.
Add flower dimension by using a damp brush and apply the darkest color near the folds and creases.  Skip every other petal and then come back to those.
With a damp brush, blend out a little of the color for each petal.  Repeat for all sections.  Heat set.
Finally, layer everything and add embellishments to finish.
Here is a closer look.
