Mouse, flowers and balloon celebration card.

Here is a cute celebration floral card with a sweet mouse and using minimal coloring.

For this card, I began by stamping and trimming the ivory panel, using black ink.  The wreath was also stamped onto white cardstock.  Next, I added the top flowers using repeat stamping with assorted florals.  The circles were die-cut for layering.  Copic markers were added to the stamping in small areas, for pops of color.  Finally, everything was assembled to finish.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

When there is a will, there is a way dreamy floral card.

Here is an encouragement floral card with dreamy ink shading accents.

Sentiment:  When there is a will, there is a way.

For this card, I began by stamping and trimming the mint green floral panel, using black ink.  Next, I added dreamy shading around the edges of the stamping, using ColorBox ink and a foam applicator.  A doily was cut to make a small card accent.  Finally, everything was assembled to finish.

Floral tag card with Copic markers and Uniquely Unity.

For Technique Time at Unity, I am sharing a floral tag card with patterned paper, Copic markers and Uniquely Unity stamping.

Sentiment:  Wild heart free spirit.
This is a floral tag card using stamping, Copic coloring and patterned paper accents.  It is an inspirational card with layers.

Here are helpful tips for creating this floral tag card.  To begin, I pre-cut the background layer from patterned paper.  Next, I pre-stamped the flowers and the sentiment onto cardstock using Copic friendly ink in black.  Then, Copic markers were used to add color.  Once the coloring was done, I die-cut tag layers from the stamping.  Hemp cording was added as an accent.  Finally, to finish, everything was layered onto the card base.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Christmas wishes gift card holder ~ MCT 3-D Wednesday

Today, the My Creative Time team is sharing 3-D projects.  I wanted to make another gift card holder for Christmas gift giving.

Sentiment:  Christmas wishes just for you.

This was fun and easy to make.  The gift card holder container was die-cut onto patterned paper and then folded.  The included sentiment label was also die-cut and stamped with the holiday greeting.  Then, the Santa hat was cut and assembled.  Everything was popped up with foam tape on the front side of the gift card holder to finish.

Supplies:  My Creative Time Big Santa Dies, Pretty Gift Card Holder Dies and Dec 25th stamps; DCWV paper, Ranger archival ink and foam tape.

Vibrant deer watercolor Christmas card and video tutorial.

Here is a Christmas deer watercolor card and video.  I show one way to use watercolor Color Burst powders with vibrant color results for card making.

Sentiment:  Oh deer Christmas is here.

I began by stamping and trimming the deer and leaves panel.  Next, I mixed water with Color Burst watercolor powders to make diluted watercolors.  These were added to the deer panel to create these vibrant non-traditional holiday colors.  Finally, everything was dried and assembled to finish.

Here is a closer look.
