Christmas or Holiday sleigh shaped gift or favor box

 Hello.  The My Creative Time design team is sharing gift or favor projects.  Today, I am sharing a holiday sleigh shaped treat box filled with wrapped candy canes.

This little sleigh is going to be displayed on a table with the mint candy canes inside for sharing.

To create this, begin by die-cutting the sleigh pieces.  I used red and gold card stock.  Then, assemble the sleigh using extra tacky score tape or strong glue.  For embellishment, I add little gems or dots onto the outside.  Finally, add small wrapped candies, a small gift or even a gift card inside.  These are great to display on a counter or used as stocking stuffers or party favors.

{Fun findings about the candy cane.  It originated in Germany and is often associated with Christmastide and also as Saint Nicholas Day.}

Supplies:  My Creative Time Sleigh Treat Box Die (revised).
Also, score tape, My Favorite Things gold shine and red hot cardstock, adhesive dots, wrapped candy canes.

  1. Hi Gaylynn, your sleigh is beautiful! I love the gold bow and gold runner! You make me realize that I am a creature of habit, (sorry to say) lol, but I always put the bow when I make one on the top side of the sleigh and it looks gorgeous where you put it, now I can change, thanks. Lol Merry Christmas!!!
