A tribute to Ginger (My Sister's Scrapper) ~ A card inspired by her!

Hello, and welcome to my blog.  This post is dedicated to my fellow My Creative Time design team member, Ginger Ropp, in her memory.  I wanted to honor her by creating something in Ginger's style.  Here is my layered and vintage-style holiday card.

Sentiment:  Peace on earth.

One of the things Ginger enjoyed was the love for paper crafting.  I got to know her from working on the MCT design team.  During that time, I remember her upbeat spirit, friendliness and energy that shined through.  She made lovely projects from beautiful designer paper and embellishments.  Scrapbooking, mini albums, cards and interactive paper crafts are some of the things she loved to make.

Ginger is also known as My Sister's Scrapper.

Her daughter gave permission for our team to share these pictures.

These are a few of the cards and gifts that she received.

Here is one more look at today's card, inspired by her style.  I used coordinating patterned paper layers and holiday florals with a vintage theme.

To Ginger's family, friends and loved ones, may you find peace in the joyful memories with Ginger.  She was an inspiration and a shining light for so many.

Supplies:  My Creative Time
holiday banner sentiments, layered banner dies, rectangle frame die layers and gift card tag dies.
Also, flat and foam double-sided tape, BasicGrey 6x6 paper (retired) in aspen frost and nordic holiday; ivory lace, Prima Marketing poinsettia flowers, gold glitter paper, score tape and mini Misti.

Please visit Emma's My Creative Time blog for more of the team's projects which were inspired by Ginger.

Thank you so much for visiting.
