Today I have for you a two page mixed media style scrapbook layout.

This is a memory of the last time that our family went to a Miami baseball game.  It is also a memory of when my son played against Jose in AAU ball.  I am sharing some of our memories along with our little memorial.

Here is page one close up:

And page two close up:

I kept this vintage looking with a mix of watercolor and distress ink.

Unity supplies:  Go Forward and Keep Wild by Jolande and Marleen;  also 9/2016 Kit of the Month Moments Between Moments and 6/2013 SMAK Epic Moments.

Get Well Mixed Media Card & Tutorial

This is a mixed media style watercolor card

Sentiment:  Hope you feel better a little more every day.

The process for this was a little out of my comfort zone.
I used Brusho powders for the first time.  Here is how I got the look.

Brusho tutorial for this card:

Use: Brusho, watercolor paper, stamp, water, spray mister bottle, Ranger archival ink, paper towel, plastic gloves, apron, plastic mat. (The colors stain, so use caution.)

Stamp onto watercolor paper. (Optional: Stamp after the watercolor dries completely.)
Spray the watercolor paper with water.
LIGHTLY sprinkle one color at a time.
Spray with water again. (This moves the color, dissolves the powder and blends.)
Repeat as needed.
Dry completely.

The outcome will be different every time.  But, what a cool process, my new favorite thing. haha.

Coffee Lovers Fall Blog Hop Bookmark or Gift Tag

This is my first time participating in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
I decided to make a bookmark / gift tag for the occasion.

Sentiment:  A good book is always better with something hot.

I used the colors of gold, mustard and turquoise and layered the image panel.  The dots are made with gold embossing paste and a stencil.

I made this for use as a bookmark, but it can also work as a fun gift or wine tag.

Funny Classic Car Birthday Card

Here is a clean and simple vintage style masculine card with a little humor.

Sentiment:  Happy birthday.  You are now a classic.

I know a few people who would get a chuckle out of this one.

This card shines and looks much better in person.
The 1957 Chevy car is covered in Glossy Accents and shines like new paint.  And the road strip is gold watercolor.  It is hard to capture the shine in a photograph.
