Teapot Flowers Inspirational Card & Tutorial

An inspirational teapot card for today.

Sentiment:  Find beauty in the simple things.

I am a tea lover.  However, I have never used a teapot as a planter or vase.  Good idea though.
The teapot is paired with an inspirational message that I love.

Watercolor with oil pastels, droplets and a simple frame finished it.
I was going for the look of green milk glass, by mixing colors.  It comes close, but not what I intended.
It does come close to the color of the year though. ~ Greenery.

Here is a quick tip video tutorial for blending water soluble oil pastels as watercolors.

And here is a closer look:

I hope this inspires you to think outside the box, get a little messy and try making new colors now and then.

Supplies:  Unity Stamp Co. Pretty Darn Amazing March 2017 KOM, Prima water soluble oil pastels, MFT die-namics, Pretty Pink Posh droplets and Ranger watercolor paper.

Have a great day.

A fun card with flowers and a camera.

Here is a camera themed card with flowers and a FUN sentiment.

Sentiment:  Smile till your face hurts.

The background was created by using the image in multiples, then using Copic markers for color.
I though that this fun sentiment needed to be showcased.
With a little frame, flag, twine and a tiny camera charm, it all came together perfectly.
This is great for congratulations, birthday, friends, family and celebration occasions.

Here is a video tutorial for it.

Supplies:  Unity Stamp Co. Smile In Your Dreams, dies by Avery Elle and My Creative Time, camera charm, twine and Copic Markers.

I hope this made you smile. :)

Four Leaf Clover for St. Patrick's Day

Here is a St. Patrick's Day themed card with a four leaf clover.

Sentiment:
Four leaf clover.  One leaf for Hope.  One leaf for Faith.  Another for Love.  The last for Luck.

This is a simple and cute little 3-D clover that is paper pieced.
This sentiment goes perfectly with it.
With only a couple of layers and trim, this makes for a great card to help welcome Spring or to send St. Patrick's Day wishes.

Here is a quick tip video tutorial.

A Spring Butterfly Card & Tutorial

This is a meaningful Spring card with flowers and a 3-D butterfly.

Sentiment:  Because of you... I laugh a little harder, cry a little less and smile a lot more.

I love what it says.  This could be a card for any time, thank you, family, friendship, love, thinking of you and more.

The butterfly is pretty on its own, but I gave it movement and dimension by lifting the wings.
I wanted it to be dancing around the flowers.

Here is a quick tip video tutorial for it.

Mother & Child Love Handmade Card

This is perfect card to celebrate motherhood.
I think it is great for mother's day, new moms, birthday and more.

Sentiment:  Mother is another name for love.  Having a child is to have your heart walk around outside of your body.

This sure is TRUE.  I love the sentiment as much as these gorgeous flowers.
The heart is popped up and includes tulle.
This was colored with watercolor pencils.

A quick tip video tutorial follows.
