Koi Pond Stenciling and Copic Coloring

 Today, I am sharing a tropical scene with Koi pond stenciling and Copic coloring.  This is a soft combination paired with patterned paper.

I really like the mix of patterns and layers.

Helpful Tips:

To create using koi pond stenciling and Copic coloring, begin by stamping in alcohol friendly ink onto white cardstock.  Then, color in the stamping with Copic markers or your favorite coloring.  Just make sure your ink is compatible with your color medium.  Next, add color to the water area using stenciling and distress ink blending.  Also, trim or die-cut the koi layer and a frame layer from patterned paper.  For added accents, use ribbon or lace trim behind the koi panel.  Finally, layer it all onto the card base using flat or foam double-sided tape.
