Today, I am sharing a simple card with script texture dry embossing plus foil accents. This is ready to thank those who offer care and kindness.
Adding that extra texture plus shimmer really makes all the difference and a lovely card accent.
Here are helpful tips for making this card using script texture dry embossing. Dry embossing pertains to the use of an embossing folder instead of heat embossing with ink and heat. To begin, prepare a card base, A2 sized. Then, trim or die-cut a background layer from colored cardstock. Also, stamp and foil the dragonfly onto smooth white cardstock. (For more about ways to foil, see my other foiling projects.) Next, stamp the sentiment. Then, trim or die-cut the dragonfly panel and two sentiment strips. Optional, for added accent, add a touch of ink blending to the tag panel. Finally, layer it all onto the card base, to finish.
This card is included in the Unity February 2023 Sketch Challenge for inspiration. Join in on the fun there inside of the Unity Show and Tell Group on Facebook.
