Happy New Year! The February 2023 Friends Of Unity blog hop inspiration is "Say It!" (All about the Sentiment). I hope that you will join in on the fun and inspiration. Simply comment on each blog in the hop. See the end of this post for your next stop.
I have 3 projects for this month. Be sure to scroll all of the way down to see them all.
To start with, here is my zinnia flower card using foiling. No coloring was involved and it was made flat for easy mailing
Here are helpful tips for making this congratulations wedding card. To begin, prepare an A2 size card base in white. Also pre-cut or trim two background layers from smooth color cardstock. Then, die-cut and stamp the congrats sentiment and the hearts. Also, stamp and heat emboss the bottom sentiment onto color cardstock. I used white embossing on teal. Next, preheat a laminator on the highest setting and then prepare the stamp for foiling. Use either heat embossing or use transfer gel duo for the stamping. Once set, sandwich the stamped panel with foil on the top, pretty side up, between a carrier sheet. Then run the sandwich through a heated laminator and allow the foiling to cool. Now, gently peel away the foil to review the foiled floral stamping. Finally, layer all of the panels onto the card base using flat double-sided tape and glue, to finish.
Here is the other Hi card using the pre-cut zinnia panel. I didn't want the leftover flowers to go to waste. You get two cards from one stamping.
