October 2022 Friends of Unity Blog Hop ~ Anything But A Card ~ Gift Box

Hello and welcome.  For today, I am sharing a 3D mini gift or favor box project for the Friends of Unity blog hop.  This social media hop inspiration is anything but a card.  I hope you will join in on the fun and inspiration.  Simply comment on each stop in the hop.

I used Autumn leaves to decorate this little gift box.  It works perfectly for a place setting decoration or place card, hostess gift, party favor box, mini gift wrap or thank you tokens.

Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for making this Autumn themed mini gift or favor box.  To begin, trim or die-cut 2 layers of a mini box or shopping bag die.  Next, assemble of gift box.  Then, adhere a panel made from watercolor for the background.  I used a leftover piece of spray watercolor from a previous project.  Next, stamp, color and fussy cut the leaves using Autumn colors onto kraft color cardstock.    Also, adhere bits of sequin confetti over the leaves for sparkle.  Then, layer the leaves and tie them with twine or cording.  Finally, adhere the leaves, the doily and the embellishments onto the gift box front, to finish.

Loved the paperpiece, but searched a bunch to see how you made these leaves, really pretty and look like glass. (The little wash machine cracked me up ha, really cute.) HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🍂🍃🍂
