Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for adding a bit of gold foil with card making.  To begin, prepare a slimline card base and a card front layer.  Next, stamp and color in the stamping.  Optional, add stencil accents to the background.  Layer the card.  Then, onto a smooth trimmed piece of cardstock, add the trimmed & peeled away images from the transfer sheets, sticky side to the paper.  Also, carefully remove the top film.  Next using a die-cutting machine, place the foil pretty side up over the clear adhesive cardstock piece.  Run this through the die-cutting machine, sandwiched between parchment paper, a few extra cardstock sheets for pressure and the die-cutting plates.  Then, gently rub and remove the foil.  Finally, layer the foiled sentiment over the layered card, to finish.
Card base cut 9" x 8", score at 4".
Assembled card 9" x 4".

Here is a closer look.

This project foiled slimline holiday card was fun to make.  Use what you have on hand to stamp, trim, color and layer up your cards along with a bit of gold foiling.  Give this project a try.
