Foiling adhesive transfers without a laminator ~ YouTube Hop

Hello.  Today, I am sharing a foiling project for the YouTube video hop featuring Unity Stamp Company, Therm-o-web and Brutus Monroe, beginning August 11, 2022.  I hope you will join in on the fun and inspiration.   Simply comment on each stop in the hop, over on YouTube.

Sentiment:  Hello friend.

Here are the details of this collaboration YouTube hop.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Helpful tips:
Here is the process that I used for foiling without a laminator and using pressure instead of heat.  To begin, prepare an A2 card base and die-cut or trim a card front layer in white.  Next, add in blending for the background.  I used a stencil but that is optional.  Have your die-cutting machine handy for the next step.  Use the die-cutting plates along with a carrier sheet (or parchment paper) and 4 extra pieces of cardstock.  Cut out the adhesive transfer images that you want to foil, using scissors.  Next, gently peel away the back film, then place and pat the sticky adhesive transfer onto smooth cardstock.  Also, gently peel the top layer of the film away leaving the clear adhesive on the cardstock.  Next, place foil over the clear adhesive transfer, pretty side up.  To foil with pressure, sandwich the cardstock and the foil between a carrier sheet or parchment paper.  Then, place that sandwich between your die-cutting plates with added cardstock layers and run through the machine for pressure.  Finally, gently remove the foil and layer the card front onto the card base with adhesive gems, to finish.
