Clover Stencil Making ~ My Creative Time Just Cards

Hello.  The My Creative Time design team is sharing card project ideas.  Today, I am sharing a St. Patrick's Day greeting card using handmade stenciling using clover die-cuts.

Sentiment:  Happy St. Patrick's Day

This card was fun to make using MCT dies and stencil making from one clover die.  I love the bright and sweet look of the finished card.

To make this, begin by stamping and heat embossing the sentiment in white onto green cardstock.  Also, die-cut the sentiment and some covers.  Then, die-cut a border using the mini lollipop die.  And, trim the ends.  Next, onto a thick cardstock panel, die-cut the clover many times to make a background stencil.  Then, use that handmade stencil to ink blend the clovers directly onto the card front.  Finally, adhere the two trimmed lollipop holder ends to make a border with the added scalloped sentiment label placed in the center of the two border pieces.  Also, add extra clovers in green, to finish.

This is a closer look.

Also, foam tape, Mini Misti, My Favorite Things on-point precision glue & prickly pear card stock; enamel dots, Simon Says Stamp ink blending brushes, cardstock, washi tape, Ranger Tim Holtz distress oxide ink pads in peeled paint and fossilized amber; white embossing powder, white pigment ink, heat tool.
