Intricate Die Cuts with Adhesive Sheets ~ Card Technique

Using an adhesive sheet helps to easily apply intricate cover die-cuts to cards.  Here is a tutorial on how I made this monochromatic birthday card filled with stars.

Sentiment:
Happy birthday to you & many more.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

Helpful tips:

To create this, begin by stamping the background and the sentiment onto kraft color cardstock.  I used matching ink colors for the stamping and the card base.  Next, die-cut the sentiments.  Also, stamp and fussy cut (cut out) the woodgrain stars.  Then, trim an adhesive sheet to the size of the stamped background panel.  Also, peel away one side of the adhesive and adhere it to the back of the stamped background panel.  Next, die-cut using the stars background die over the background stamping.  Then, use a  piercing tool to poke out all of the stars.  Also, carefully peel away the film on the back of the panel to reveal the sticky background.  Finally, adhere the stars background panel to the card base and add the sentiments and added stars, to finish.

Here is another look.
