4 Foiled Holiday Pocket Gift Tag Cards ~ Tutorial

This set of four foiled holiday pocket gift tag cards offers a greeting and gift in each card.  Today on the Unity blog, I am sharing a way to add a tag gift as part of holiday card making.

Holiday card making can also include a gift surprise with these pocket gift tag cards.  The tag is removable as a gift to the recipient.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.

For these cards, I used a mix of deco foil toner card fronts, foil colors and holiday sentiments.  These make for a great surprise upon arrival.

Helpful tips:

These are helpful tips to create a set of foiled holiday pocket gift tag cards.  To begin, stamp and trim a layered sentiment panel.  I used dies but a paper trimmer works great also.  Next, add foil colors over different toner card fronts and run these through a preheated laminator to apply the foiling.  Then, peel away the foil.  Optional:  add distress ink blending in coordinating colors over the foiled card front.  Next, trim and adhere vellum pockets toward the bottom of the foiled layer.  Also, trim and adhere white scalloped strips for the bottom to cover viewable adhesive.  Finally, adhere and layer it all onto the card base, to finish.

And here is another look and the card set.
