Color cardstock stamp & cut pastel rainbows ~ 2 cards tutorial

For today, I am sharing two coordinating rainbow cards using a stamp and cut technique with color cardstock.

Sentiments:
Hello my friend.
Hope your birthday is full of sunshine and rainbows.

Helpful tips:
Here are helpful tips for creating these cards.  To begin, trim four squares from smooth color cardstock.  Next, onto each of the cardstock pieces, stamp the patterned rainbows and the heart.  I chose black ink on pastel colors, but any color combination will do.  Then, with scissors, trim around all of the rainbow layers to get an assortment of rainbow colors.  Next, onto an ivory background panel shape, adhere each set of rainbow layers in variegated colors and patterns, for paper piecing.  Then, add the sentiments and the clouds.  Finally, add dots of marker color directly onto the card base as an accent, to finish.

I made a video tutorial showing the process for this project.
