Stencil blending + Copic markers book themed card tutorial

For Technique Time on the Unity Stamp Company blog, I share stencil blending and Copic coloring for this book-themed card.

Sentiment:  Every chapter is the chance for a new beginning.

This card with the stencil blending on the text background works with many stamps, themes and occasions.

Helpful tips:
Here are helpful tips for creating this stencil blending card background.  To begin, stamp the text background.  Then, trim or die-cut the stamping to fit onto your card base.  Next, using an ink blending brush or applicator, blend two colors of distress oxide ink around the sides of the text panel.  Also, stamp the girl and the sentiment using Copic friendly ink.  Then, trim the girl panel in a narrow shape to fit over the background.  Next, color in the girl with Copic markers.  Finally, layer everything and embellish it to finish.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.
