Here is my cardinal bird card with background stamping and focal point layering. This one uses Copic markers and Unity stamps.

Helpful tips:
Here are helpful tips for creating this bird card. To begin, stamp the background leaves and olives. Next, stamp the bird and sentiment. Then, add color using the medium of choice. For this card, I used Copic markers with lots of layers. Next, trim or die-cut the background, the sentiment, tiny hearts and two tag layers. Also, fussy cut (cut out) the bird. Then, make a layered center focal point for the card by stacking the tags, hearts, the bird and sentiment. Finally, layer it all over the card base, to finish.
