Flip-Up Holiday Card Hand Trimmed Border + Copics ~ Tutorial
Sentiment: Winter wishes.
A flip-up card has an interesting presentation and is easy to make. This technique works with or without using metal dies.
Helpful tips:
Here are helpful tips for creating this flip-up card. To begin, stamp the flowers and the sentiment with Copic friendly ink. Then, add color to the florals. I used Copic markers in layers of corresponding colors. Next, trim or die-cut an inside liner and the sentiment. Then, fussy cut (cut out) the floral swag. Next, adhere the swag where you want it onto the front of the card base. Then, use scissors to hand-trim the card base along the bottom of the floral border. Finally, add the inside paper liner and the sentiment, to finish.
I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.
