Tropical Mermaid Tall or Slim Card ~ MCT Anything Goes

Hello.  The My Creative Time design team is sharing projects of our choice.  Here is my tropical mermaid tall or slim style card.  It has an encouraging sentiment and gold foil accents.

Sentiment:  Leave a little sparkle wherever you go.

To make this card,  begin by gathering your paper colors and then die-cut all of the layers and accents.  For foiling, it is easier to die-cut onto foil paper or pre-foiled cardstock.  

This mermaid was cut from gold foil paper.  Then again with the background die and very little pressure in the Cuttlebug machine, to create an embossed look.  You can also use the dry emboss setting with the background die for this look.  

Next, stamp and die-cut the sentiment bubble.  Also, trim a card base to fit a little larger than the largest die-cut background panel.  I cut this card base 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" and scored 3 3/4" for the fold line.  Finally, adhere everything, to finish.

Supplies:  My Creative Time Mermaid Kisses, Mermaid Background Die, Tall Frame Dies and Tall Frame Die Layers; assorted patterned paper, Ranger archival ink in cobalt, double-sided flat and foam tape, Silhouette gold foil paper.
