Tropical flamingo birthday card with watercolor, Copics and die-cuts

Hello.  Today, the My Creative Time team is sharing birthday themed projects.  Here is my tropical style card with flamingos against simple watercolor and added vellum foliage.

Sentiment:  Hello gorgeous.  Happy birthday

This card was designed to be cheerful and bright.  I made a tropical scene with a mix of two sets, mixed color mediums and with vellum leaf accents.  Good day sunshine!

To make this, trim or die-cut a background panel from watercolor paper and then add simple watercolor swipes.  Next, stamp the flamings and the sentiment.  Add color to the flamingos.  I used Copics.  Next, die-cut the flamingos and trim a sentiment flag.  Also, die-cut accents in vellum or watercolored paper.  Finally, layer it all to create the scene that you want.

Supplies:  My Creative Time Hello Gorgeous, Summer Vibes and More Stitched Rectangular Dies; Simon Says Stamp intense black ink, mini Misti, foam tape, Canson watercolor paper, Prima watercolor, paint brush, vellum, Copic markers R02, R20, YR14, C7.

Enjoy your day.
