Nautical wedding card with paper strips + laminator foiling.

Hello.  Today, I am sharing a nautical themed wedding card.  It includes background paper strips and also gold laminator foiling.

Sentiment:
Mr. & Mrs. Best Wishes

For this nautical themed card, first, prepare your stamping for laminator foiling.  I decided to heat emboss the sentiment onto vellum.  Other options including deco foil transfer gel.  Next, to add foil, place a trimmed deco foil sheet, pretty side up, over the prepared stamped panel.  Once laminated, set the foiling aside to cool.  Meanwhile, trim strips of navy cardstock at least 1/4 inches per strip.  Then, adhere them to the card base to make a striped background.  Next, gently peel away the foil from the stamped sentiment.  For vellum paper, add clear double-sided tape behind the sentiment areas and then adhere the panel over the background section.  To finish, add cording and/or an anchor accent.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.
